When you use this website to obtain a quote you data is used to provide the information you requested. Before submitting the quote we request you confirm (i.e. Opt-in) to us contacting you with regards the quote and providing any further information you may require. On any communication you receive there is the option not to receive any further communication (i.e. Opt-out) with regards the quote. If you exercise your right to opt-out you will not receive any further communication from us. It should be noted that where you opt-out and do not wish to progress a quote your data will be retained for 6-months, in case you change your mind, after which your data will automatically be deleted from our system.
We do not use your data for marketing or advertising purposes, apart from following-up with quotes you have requested as detailed above.

How long will you use my personal data for?

Quotation: where you request a quotation but do not follow through to purchase the service quoted your data will be retained for six months.
Customer (i.e. Where you accept a quote and purchase our services): by law we have to keep basic information about our customers (including contact, identity, financial and transaction data) for seven years after they cease being customers for tax purposes. In addition, we have a right to retain data for up to six years to defend contractual claims. As a consequence, your data may be stored for a period up to seven years as measured from the date of completion of the service or your last communication with us.

No fee usually required
You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we could refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

You have the right to:
Request access to your personal data (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected, though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.
